VAST Google certification and new VAST video formats

VAST (Video Ad Serving Template) is the standard in video ad serving technology and widely used by publishers, ad networks and DOOH displays all around the world. We have added support for VAST video in ACM and our formats can be used in all environments allowing third-party VAST Ad Serving. Adssets is also a Google AdExchange Certified External Vendor for VAST video.
At the same time, we are now releasing five new VAST video formats in ACM ranging from simple videos to more complex solutions that add images and text to the video or external feed data. You can read an explanation and view example videos of each format below. Our Sportsbook and E-commerce standard VAST formats can be used by customers that have Sportsbook or E-commerce feeds integrated into their accounts. VAST Video

The standard “simple” video format with only a video and a click link. Supports adding an external third-party impression tracker.

VAST Video – Plate

In this format, you can choose to add an image covering the whole video for a selected amount of time. You control exactly when to start and stop displaying the image. This can, for example, be used to show the daily offers at the end of an already existing TV commercial for a retail brand, or highlight a destination for a travel agency in their videos. Supports different click links for video and image and external third-party impression tracking.

VAST Video – Text and Plate

The Text and Plate format adds the possibility to input a text message and logo on top of an image or black/white background. You control exactly when to start and stop displaying the message and image. In future updates of this format, we will add the possibility to make geo-targeted messages, for example, to make targeted offers to different cities. Supports different click links for video and image external third-party impression tracking.

VAST Video – Sportsbook

This is our standard Sportsbook format that displays games with odds in the video. The odds are updated regularly and a new video created so you will always have up to date odds. There are settings for how long time each game will show and when to start displaying games. For example, you can show 10 seconds of video and then start displaying games every 3 seconds for the rest of the video. There is also the option to upload a logo that will be added to the video. Supports deep linking to each game and external third-party impression tracking.

VAST Video – E-commerce

Our standard E-commerce VAST format that displays products from an E-commerce catalog in the video. Videos update regularly so that latest product updates from the catalog are always displayed. There are settings for how long time each product will show and also when to start displaying products. There is also the option to upload a logo that will be added to the video. Supports deep linking to each product and external third-party impression tracking.
